Sushi Zento @ Precint 10, Penang

Precint 10; another new place to hang out in Penang has recently opened. This place adapts a concept pretty closely to that of Autocity in Juru, except that it is smaller.
We took the opportunity to dine at a rather pack restaurant.

unagi roll in egg skin RM3.80

unagi sushi RM5.80

RM3.80

crab coleslaw sushi RM1.80

RM3.80

unagi temaki RM9

left: salmon garlic fried rice RM10 (recommended); middle: plain garlic fried rice RM5 (too garlic-ly taste); right: preserved vege garlic fried rice RM7 (recommended)

assorted vegetable tempura RM12

fried spinach RM6 (this dish came unexpectedly cold and i have never like cold vegetables)

age dashi tofu RM8 (texture of tofu is not that smooth)

I have yet to try the ramen but i would definitely make a second visit to do so as I saw many other diners ordered ramen. Service is very good with all the servers smiling and being very polite. Ocha is refillable and is charged at RM1 per glass.
Parking is charged at RM1 for the first 2 hours and RM1 for subsequent hours.

Amelia Cafe @ Armenian Street

Fancy visiting the heritage site and at the same time find a place to chill out and fill the empty stomach? Stop by at Amelia Cafe, a prewar house turned cafe with very interesting decos (traditional pots, paintings, etc). Operated by a couple, this place caters from bagels to cakes to spaghetti and sandwiches. What's best is that everything is home made and made fresh!
cute decos on the wall

cute menu

bacon and egg bagel RM15

cold tea RM9, lychee and longan RM8

This is place is rather camouflaged by plants and tress growing around its exterior, so you've really got to pay attention while walking in order not to miss it.

Brussels Beer Cafe @ Gurney Paragon

My first visit to a German restaurant was definitely a memorable one. Brussels Beer Cafe caters not just alcoholic drinks (discounted drinks during happy hour til 8pm) but also decent food at very reasonable prices. Located at the heart of tourist spot in Penang, the newly opened Gurney Paragon is definitely the talk-about place to visit in town.

hot chocolate RM6

iced mocha RM8

coffee latte RM8

liege salad RM16.80 (one of the best salad ever tasted)

pork burger RM18.80

Brussels' menu focuses more on pork dishes. However, they do have quite a selection of salads. So, no worries if you not a pork-person.
I would also give a full rate for its services provided.
