Famous Penang Food Loh Mee @ Carnavon Street

Today i'm going to introduce Chinese traditional food, Loh or Lor Mee. Further definition is noodles cooked in egg-starched gravy, serve perfectly with grind garlic and chilli paste. While there are many other stalls selling Loh Mee in Penang, this one is particularly unique.
Lebuh Carnavon/ Carnavon Street

The stall disclose its sizes of noodles with the corresponding prices

The Loh Mee is selling at a very reasonable price with a quality portion. The taste of the Loh Mee is awesome.

And so the uniqueness of the stall as mentioned is the availability of the duck eggs to be added into your Loh Mee.The taste of the duck is similar to that of Taiwan Egg.

Complete your mean with a cup of traditionally-brewed black coffee (kopi-o).

Sri Ananda Bahwan Indian Food @ Little india

Located at Little India, Penang is this restaurant selling the traditional Indian food such as Roti Canai, Nasi Briyani, Roti Tisu, Naan and etc. The food is nice and the environment in clean.

Cheese Naan

Plain Tosai

Cow Milk

The cheese naan is served with two different soup. One is traditional curry soup and the another one is green mint soup. It surprised me because the taste is really awesome. Besides, the tosai which was served with the white sambal was a good combination. You may also try the fresh cow milk in the restaurant. The cow milk is very smoothing.

Beans Heritage Soya Bean Curd

Bean Heritage is one of the best dessert in Georgetown area Penang which is in the Kopitan Classic. One of the famous dessert there is TaoFu Hua (Soya Bean Curd). For the TaoFu Hua, it melts in your mouth. Texture is so light that when the brown sugar is sprinkled on it, the brown sugar immediately immensed and mixed so well.

THE SOYA BEAN CURD

Not only do they have desserts. They also serve main meals. One classic Penang hawker dish which is Penang Laksa is definitely a good try. Also to recommend is the Seafood Spaghetti

The price of the food is reasonable. Besides the dining environment is pretty good. You may enjoy good food in great ambience with your love one.

The Sire Museum Restaurant

Another well-known themed restaurant, The Sire Museum Restaurant, catering an array of Western dishes in an atmosphere so serene, you would just go for a drink or dessert. This place reminds me of The China House with almost similar decoratives and ambience but more choices on its menu.

its menu properly wrapped in leather skin

mixed fruit juices at RM9.80 per glass

seafood linguine RM22.80 (sauce is superb but the smell of Basil leaves is a little too strong especially for those who are not keen in herbs)

carbonara spaghetti RM22.80 (very well-blended with the choices of seafood)

lemon-grass grilled chicken RM32.80 (one of the best grilled chicken i have ever had!)

Even though prices are a little on the high side, I will definitely go back for another round of meal as they are really good and worth!

Where at?
4, King Street, Georgetown, 10200 Penang.

fried fish rice set RM5.90

fried chicken rice set RM5.90

Though food here is priced affordably, I would think twice visiting for the second time as the presentation and the taste of the food is rather bland.
